I started my career in 2006 as a community support worker at Tri-County Mental Health Center (now Beacon.) While working in community mental health I pursued my Master’s of Social Work at University of Missouri-Kansas City. I graduated with my MSW in 2012.

From that time I have worked as a psychiatric social worker, hospice social worker, and medical social worker. I have been working at Children’s Mercy Hospital since 2016 in various capacities and joined the Primary Care Clinic in 2017. I accepted the role of a Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) July of 2024.

I am excited to continue working with patients and families within the pediatric clinic environment as the clinic-based BHC with Baby and Child Associates. As a licensed clinician in Missouri, I have robust knowledge of the assessment and diagnosis process of mental/behavioral health disorders, as well as utilizing clinic-based brief treatments to further support patients and families. I can support families with ADHD/ADD, anxiety disorder, behavior challenges, crisis management, depression, disease management, grief/loss and sleep disturbances.
